These guys are amazing! They used their crane to remove 2 huge firs with surgical precision. The trees were way too close to the house and inside our donkeys pasture. We didn’t even have to move the donkeys.

Max and the team from August Hunike were absolutely the kindest crew with a lot of knowledge on tree trimming and shrub health or removal. They reviewed carefully the work order with me before they started. Then checked with me several times to ensure i agreed with their treatment or work. In some cases when they found something that required a discussion and maybe a different solution we had a discussion. GREAT communications Cleaned the area well and did did a great job. I have used them for 20+ years and will continue to do so. A BIG THANKYOU.

August did an amazing job taking out a problem tree for us. It's rare these days to have someone show up when they say they will. Not only that he did it the same day he came to check it out and quick.

I cannot say enough great things about August Hunicke Arborist!
We had a massive 65-foot pine tree in a very tight spot—he only had about a 10-foot window to work with between our septic pump-out and our brand new Generac generator that powers our entire home during outages. This was NOT an easy job, but he handled it with incredible precision and professionalism.
What really blew me away was the price—it was WAY lower than I ever expected. On top of that, he gave us a quote right then and there, on-site, the same day he came out to look at the tree. No waiting, no runaround, no surprises. He took the tree right then in less than an hour.
It was awesome: he showed up on time, fully prepared, and got straight to work. Everything was done safely and exactly as promised. You can tell he truly takes pride in his work, knows exactly what he's doing and cares about doing things right.
If you need tree work done, do yourself a favor and call August Hunicke Arborist. You won’t find better pricing, better service, or a more skilled and trustworthy professional.
Absolutely 5 stars all the way!

August's crew ground down a stump from a recently felled tree. The bid was reasonable and service quick. Their machine is remote controlled and drove itself to the stump site. They put up a barrier to contain the debris and about 15 minutes later it was done. We opted to do our own clean up which was a few minutes of raking. Recommended.

Truly a world class arborist and his crew who make the most difficult jobs look easy. Not only are they down to earth, but every order is served with an amble helping of humor. You'll also want to checkout MonkeyBeaver.com for some great climbing gear that's made in the USA.

They came in on a very hot day to trim 4 big tree's on my property, they where right on time and very professional. They did exactly what we described and talked about on the Free Estimate. I also had them remove a stump that was in my yard and I was very pleased with their quality of work. And they also pull a very large dead branch out of a tree that my daughter was worried about falling and possibly hurting someone. Thank You, Boy's.... Great Job!

August shares his day to day trials tribulations and experiences. He is a revolutionary influence in an industry that usually has you side lined from climbing by the end of your 30's. The 40's brings the bucket truck. However August, now in his 50's is still making it look easy. Being 44 myself he inspires me, and shows me I still have years of climbing myself.
THANKS AUGUST KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING!!!
